Terms of Service for Jen's Web
Design
Terms of Service for our Web Hosting, Web Design or Web Site management.
New clients are required to pay a 50% deposit based on the project, (approx. $100 - $300). If you just need your site maintained, you will be charged by how large your site is: starting at $10.00 per month for up to 10 pages, $20.00 per month for 11 to 25 pages. Larger sites and e-stores with more than 10 products, will be quoted a price. Work will not begin until the deposit has been made. We accept check or money order and also major credit cards through PayPal. (payment plans available)
Invoices are sent via e-mail. Full payment is due upon receipt of invoice (unless other arrangements were made prior to invoicing). Site deactivation will take place if payment is not made by the 3rd reminder notice - there will be a $25 re-activation fee. Payments can be made with your credit card using the Payment button on our homepage. We also accept checks and money orders made out to Jen's Web Design, call for the address.
A receipt will be sent to you (the client) via e-mail when any monies are collected. Please save this for your records. You will receive a copy of your full website with templates and all on a DVD once the site is completed and the payment in full has been made.
You agree to keep Jen's Web Design informed of your email address and phone numbers should they change, just in case your site has problems that need your attention and for billing purposes. You will receive 6 months of free maintenance service with a full site design, after that if you require service it will be by monthly charges or by single item changes, depending on your needs.
Jen's Web Design will be diligent to check your site for spelling errors, but clients are responsible for spell checking (proof reading) their own text before being sent to us. All website content (photos, text, etc.) will be supplied by said client and will be kept on file unless otherwise stated. (Please only send photo copies as they will not be returned, but kept on file in case of future need).
Work is done on a "first come, first serve" basis, so the quicker you can get all the required info to us, the quicker we can get to your website design/updates. Updates are done within 72 hours unless otherwise notified.
Jen's Web Design will not be responsible for any copyright or trademark infringement due to images or graphics you provide (this applies to text as well). You are responsible for any and all (law) requirements to your business's website. Jen's Web Design has the right to deny posting any misleading information for public viewing, and will not be held responsible if said info is posted.
All clients' personal information (name, numbers, address, usernames, passwords, etc.) are kept strictly confidential and will not be given out to any other parties without your written consent.
If a yearly hosting fee has been paid to Jen's Web Design to host your domain, but the domain is switched to another hosting company before said year is up, the remaining balance is non-refundable.
Any graphics, logos, images or websites designed by Jen's Web Design will/may be included in our portfolio and/or any advertising or promotions for Jen's Web Design. (this can benefit the client as well as Jen's Web Design by the extra exposure.)
Jen's Web Design has the right to make any changes to the Terms of Service Agreement without notice, but be sure to check the News page for updates and business news.
